2012 is a very special year for the city of Cadiz, because it is the bicentenary of the First Spanish Constitution, the Cadiz Constitution of 1812, known as "La Pepa" .On March 19, 1812, Spain's first constitution, guaranteeing certain rights and liberties along with powers of self government, was signed in Cádiz.You can read more about Cádiz 2012 in this document (in German)
